All guests will meet at our shop located at 606 N Ponce De Leon Blvd., St. Augustine, FL 32084. From there, you’ll hop aboard one of our 15-passenger vans and enjoy a comfortable shuttle ride to our private off-road ATV property. The shuttle ride takes approximately 50 minutes, giving you time to relax and get excited for the adventure ahead.
   

During the ride, we’ll play an informational video covering important tour details, what to expect on the trails, and a full safety briefing. This ensures everyone arrives prepared, informed, and ready to ride as soon as we reach the property. 
   

We also offer free on-site parking during your tour, so you can leave your vehicle worry-free while on your adventure.
   

Can we meet you at the ATV location?
   

Yes, however our ATV property is located on private, gated land, and guests cannot enter until our tour guide arrives and unlocks the gate. You are welcome to follow our shuttle or meet us at the location if you prefer to drive yourself. However, if you choose to do so, you will still be required to watch the same safety and informational briefing as the rest of the group before riding.
   

Please note there is no discount for guests who choose to drive themselves.
   

Our tours depart on time and do not wait for late arrivals. Once the gate is locked, there is no entry and no refunds issued, so we strongly recommend arriving at our shop on time to avoid missing your adventure.

To operate an ATV on our guided tour, drivers must meet the following requirements:

• Minimum age of 16 years old to drive their own ATV 
• Ability to safely control and operate the vehicle 
• Attend and complete our mandatory safety and operational briefing 
• Sign a liability waiver (participants under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign)
  
  While a driver’s license is not required for operation on our private property, drivers must demonstrate the maturity and physical ability to safely handle the ATV. 
     

For safety reasons, anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be permitted to ride.
   

All riders must wear required safety gear provided by Seaside Adventures and follow the guide’s instructions at all times.

With responsive steering, a stable ride, and plenty of power, it’s the perfect machine for exploring Florida’s natural terrain — whether you’re new to off-roading or already love the thrill of the trail.

Our off-road ATV experience is best described as an eco-adventure through Old Florida. This is not a high-speed adrenaline tour — instead, it’s a guided trail ride designed for families, first-time riders, and nature lovers who want to explore the landscape at a comfortable pace. That said, seasoned ATV enthusiasts will still find plenty to enjoy. While speed isn’t the focus, there are a few open stretches along the trail where drivers can safely open it up a bit before settling back into the ride.

The trail itself offers a fun variety of terrain that keeps things interesting for both new riders and experienced ATV lovers. Drivers will navigate twists, turns, and the occasional tight squeeze through wooded areas, followed by easier cruising sections where you can relax and enjoy the scenery. Along the way, you’ll experience the changing landscape of North Florida — from wetlands filled with towering cypress trees, to areas of palm and oak hammocks, and even active ranch land that has been part of Florida’s working countryside for generations.

Our Polaris Ranger units are extremely comfortable, spacious, and stable, making them perfect for this style of adventure. Even our four-wheeler vehicles include passenger backrests and handles for rear passengers so everyone can enjoy the ride comfortably.

Wildlife sightings are one of the highlights of the tour, and guests often find themselves scanning the trees and water edges as they travel. Animals spotted on past rides include alligators, owls, wild turkey, black bears, great blue herons, donkeys, and grazing cattle. Kids especially love helping our guides spot wildlife along the trail. And who knows… legend has it that Bigfoot has even been spotted out here once or twice.

During the wet season, the adventure kicks up a notch. Guests who want to embrace the mess will love the chance to power through shallow streams and splash through muddy sections of trail.

To keep the experience relaxed and enjoyable, we also include several scheduled stops throughout the ride. These breaks give guests time for photos, snacks, stretching your legs, switching drivers, and enjoying a laid-back lunch stop before continuing the adventure.

Wildlife sightings are common, but not guaranteed.

One of the most exciting parts of your ATV adventure is the chance to experience real Florida wildlife in its natural habitat. As you explore our private trail system, you may spot a variety of native species including alligators, barred owls, great blue herons, white-tailed deer, wild turkeys, Florida black bears, snakes, turtles, and vultures.

Because this is a natural, untouched environment, every tour is different — and that’s part of the magic. Some days you may see several species, while other days might surprise you with something completely unexpected. Our experienced guides know the land well and are great at pointing out wildlife along the way, helping you spot animals you might otherwise miss.

Depending on the season, guests may also encounter hawks, egrets, ibis, raccoons, armadillos, bobcats, otters, and a wide variety of native birds and reptiles. This is not a zoo — it’s authentic Florida wilderness — giving you a rare opportunity to see wildlife as it truly lives and moves through the landscape.

Our ATV tour is a fantastic family-friendly adventure, and we love seeing families ride together! 
    

Children ages 4 and up are welcome to join as passengers, making this an exciting experience parents and kids can share.
   

All youth riders must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, who will sign a liability waiver on their behalf. 
   

For everyone’s safety, children must be able to sit securely, hold on properly, and wear all provided protective gear, including a helmet on the ATV's.
   

Our experienced guides ensure each family member is properly fitted and comfortable before hitting the trails, so you can focus on making unforgettable memories together.

  Yes, box lunches are available for purchase.
   

Lunch is not included with the tour, but we’ve made it easy for you to plan ahead. Guests may either purchase a boxed lunch in advance (typically including a sandwich, chips, cookie, and a drink) or bring their own picnic-style meal and snacks to enjoy during our scheduled lunch stop.
   

If you choose to pack your own food, please bring items that are easy to transport and do not require heating, as there are no warming facilities available onsite. We recommend packing food in a cooler or insulated lunch bag if refrigeration is needed.

Guests should wear closed-toe shoes (required) and comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting a little dusty or muddy. Depending on the season, lightweight long sleeves can help with sun and trail protection.
   

Be sure to bring sunglasses, sunscreen, and bug spray, especially during warmer months. A valid photo ID is required for check-in, and you may want to bring a small backpack for personal items. If you’re riding during the wet season, a change of clothes and towel is always a smart idea!
   

Most importantly — bring your sense of adventure. We’ll handle the rest.
   

Yes! There are bathrooms.

No — you don’t have to pee on the trees. We promise.

Before the shuttle departs, guests are welcome to use the restroom at Seaside Adventures. 

Once we arrive at the property, there are separate men’s and women’s bathrooms available before the ride begins.

During the tour, we make a stop at our lunch area, where a campsite style bathroom with 2 stalls is available if nature calls. 

When the ride concludes and we return to the main house, guests can also use the restrooms there before boarding the shuttle back to Seaside.

And if an unexpected bathroom emergency happens during the ride, don’t worry. Just let your guide know and our safety guide can escort you separately if needed.

So rest easy… the only thing you should be worrying about on this adventure is spotting wildlife and having fun. 🚜🌿

 We closely monitor the forecast and will reach out if lightning or dangerous conditions look likely to impact your ride. If we contact you with a weather concern, you'll have the option to reschedule or receive a refund.
   

  ⚠️ However, if you choose to proceed despite our warning, no refund or credit will be issued if the rain affects your experience.
   

We’ll always do our best to work with you and suggest the ideal time to ride for the best experience possible.
